What you are doing for the next ten days? Starting Monday, May 9th I will be asking 10 people to join me on a ten day challenge which we focus on health, nutrition, fitness, motivation, and accountability. If you have a desire to improve yourself in these areas, but you are not quite sure how or where to start, then this is the perfect opportunity for you! I'm asking you to make a big commitment to yourself. For ten days you will be focused on improving your health, making better choices, sacrificing in certain areas, and striving to end those ten days better than you started. I will ask you to change some of your unhealthy eating decisions, give up certain foods and habits, and keep a food journal, which you will report daily to me. We will discuss how to incorporate fitness into your life, from beginner to advanced, as a way to see even greater results. We'll even use some of the tools offered by Team Beachbody. And the best part? This is all FREE. I'm paying forward my personal experiences and transformation, helping others just as someone helped me.
Eating better and incorporating fitness into your life sounds easy, right? For most people it is not. Why? There is no one to hold you accountable. And that is exactly the point of Team Revolution. I will provide you the motivation, accountability, and support you need to find your own success. Does the sound of reporting your daily food journal to me scare you? It shouldn't. I'm here to give you open and honest feedback and to help you find ways to improve or change your diet and nutrition.
Ten days. That's all I ask. Ten days of committing to yourself. Make the number one priority in your life for those ten days YOU. Try it and see what happens. The worst thing that can happen is that you stay the same. The best thing that can happen is...well, I guess you'll have to try it to find out.

Another round of Beachbody P90X
Well it's about that time. After a two month hiatus I'm ready to light up another round of Beachbody P90X. I started my first round of it back in 2008. However, for my fourth round I'm going to crank it up a notch. I'll also be incorporating Beachbody Insanity with it. Crazy? Maybe a little. But after losing 30% of my body fat with the first three rounds, my goal is to go sub-ten percent for my entire body. One word comes to mind - shredded. Look out pool, look out beach, I'm coming! And I think those workouts combined with a little Beachbody Shakeology should do just the trick. I'll be tracking my results weekly and be giving 30 day results regarding body fat loss. I'll be "Bringing It" and I encourage you to do so as well, no matter what fitness level you might be. Now's the time to look good, feel good, and live good!
Time to Shake it!
Yep, it's about that time to break forth the rhythm and the rhyme. Ok, not really. When I say Shake it, I don't mean your booty. But, by Shaking it, you may actually lose your booty. As the kickoff event to Team Revolution, it's time to throw a party.
This party is a little different than most, if not all, that you've been to. This party does involve drinking, but in a good way. The party I'm talking about is a Shakeology party. If you haven't heard of Shakeology yet, the more reason to come to the party to find out. Simply put, Shakeology is the smartest calories you can put in your body...period. And I'm throwing a shindig revolving around this fantastic nectar from the Gods. Well, actually, it's from Beachbody, but they use the ingredients given to us by the Man.

Introducing Team Revolution!
When it comes to working out and eating healthy, we all have spurts of motivation that last several days. But eventually that fizzles out. In fact, there is a great quote by Jim Ryan that states, "Motivation is what gets you started. Habit is what keeps you going." With that said, the purpose of Team Revolution is to help create that habit. I started a group on Facebook called Team Revolution to help myself and others get past the initial high-energy, uber-intense, quick burst of a self-kick in the butt motivation. You know, the kind that says. "I think I'll go for a run today!" But what happens after a few days? Back to the old habits. Not any more.
Join our group on Facebook, check in daily, see what others are doing, share a great meal you just ate, team up with someone to run a race, meet up after dinner to go for a walk, or just get your daily dose of motivational message. The point is, individually we fail, united we stand.
